Happy Father’s Day from the Teddynator…

Hello All of you Two and Four Legged Friends,

Happy Father’s Day to all of you four and two-legged daddy’s…

It is going to be another hot day here in Wisconsin; cool mornings are the best time for walking.  My mama said that we best get out early before the heat sets in.

Of course, my mama is a southerner and she takes a lot more heat than most people who live here.  However, not like when she was younger.  She said yesterday that it was 90 degrees and best we turn on the air conditioning…now that is a tough Ole Woman!

She is letting me stay up later now that it does not get dark so early.  I also have been moved into a larger bed.  In past pictures, you did see the big crate made especially for my bed.  This one I call my big bed but I guess by human standards it is just a large cage.  No matter…I am special my mama told me so.

The morning walk was short, only four blocks…that will cause a fella to pant a little after walking a bit.  We went in a new direction, mama said there was a breeze by the Dam and we could follow the river back home.  The damn was scary, but I just looked through the fence at it with caution, I am getting to be a big boy.

Again, Happy Father’s Day to all of you great daddy’s and to you mommy’s who have to be the mama and the daddy, like my mama.

Until next time,

It is a Kings LIfe…

Hello All of you Two and Four Legged Friends,

Well folks, it has been dull around here since the kids left.  We took them home and when we walked back into the house; my mama let out a sigh…and simply said, “Ah, quiet”.  That is surely a sign that she is an Ole Woman!

It was great, 12 hours a day of running up and down the hallway, in and out of rooms.  They had these bouncy blow-up beds on the floor, when I run and jumped on them it was like having my very own trampoline.   There were things for me to do that I do not get to do when my mama and I are alone; like run away with toys, parts of games and the best…the television channel changer.  I had shoes to chew on, socks to steal and hide in my bed, it was great.

Nevertheless, the good times are over and back to the same Ole Woman things…

Today it looked like it was going to rain so mama said, let’s go for a walk before the storm gets here.

Storm’s coming…

The sun was shining; the flowers were sticking out of the dry grass that tickled my tummy.

Look, I’m a “Flower Child”…

I learn to “hike” my leg…

So, this is what that red thing is for…

Then I found this shade, mama dragged me for a little ways then give up!  Ah…it is a Kings life.

Shade and soft grass, ahhhhhhhhhh…

“Mason, that rumble is thunder.”

Ha…I say let it storm.

Visits from the Four-legged Kids…

Hello All of you Two and Four Legged Friends,

Visits from the nieces and nephew…

Five days…Saturday they brought a dog name Gizmo he was almost as fast as I am…so there are no pictures.

However, the kids wanted a picture with me!

Monday we went to visit the site of my sister Charlotte who passed away in 2010, one of my nieces gathered wildflowers and we made her pictures sitting on the memorial bench.

We walked a long way and I was very tired so last night I slept about 11 hours.  However, I am ready for another day of adventure today.

Hogging the Fan…

Are these “dog days” it hot?

Hello All of you Two and Four Legged Friends,

Well folks…I guess my mama knew what she was doing when she got all that hair cut off.  It is hot here in Wisconsin and I am hogging the fan!  Stay cool everyone.

Hey, don’t touch that fan!

Until next time,

The Teddynator is going into hiding…

Look at me, a handsome stud

Hello All of you Two and Four Legged Friends,

Well folks, I’m lost when it comes to words to describe what happen yesterday!  One minute I was this handsome cuddle masterpiece of a “Teddynator”.

It’s me…Old Baldie

The next thing I know…”WHAM”, she dropped me off at the “butcher shop”; she keeps saying things like, “I had to get rid of that puppy fuzz”; then she said I would appreciate it on these hot summer days.

The Bald Teddynator

Face it “Ole Woman”, you were just “t’ed” off about all the bite marks on your old wrinkled skin.  I am not going outside until it grows back, I’m naked.  Maybe if I drink lots of water I will be like a plant and grow…

Sympathy cards with treats will be welcomed…

Until next time,

Mama said I gotta become a big boy now…

My last day as mama’s baby

Today I get my first hair cut…12 Noon, so about 1130 start praying for me, or maybe the groomer!

 Until next time,

Living with an Ole Woman…

Hello, All of you Two and Four Legged Friends,

Today has been a long day…

You know, I thought when this Ole Gray Haired Woman brought me to my new home I be getting…”A Rocking Chair Mama”.  I continue to have the attitude that I terminate and dominate; my mama continues to have the attitude that she can eradicate and eliminate!  Oh, she has a rocking chair, the only time she sits in it is when my brothers and sister comes over.

I woke up “the mama” at 530 AM.  Now, you would think that I had let her get four hours sleep she would be ready to give the “Teddynator” a great deal of her time.  Wrong again, on went the swimsuit and 6 AM off to the YMCA.  Well, you know where this is going; she is inside having a grand time flopping around in the water and I am stuck in the back seat of her car in a cat carrier.  Yes, you heard me right it is small.  She said something about keeping me contained in a small space so I would feel secure. Hey Ole Woman, you want me to feel secure let me run through that open field, I will secure every blade of grass out there.

We got back home and…yea…we were on my favorite patch of ground.  Chewing up the grass by the roots, yum, roots.  Then she said those frightful words, “Come on we are going for a walk”.  Now you know this is not going to be an around the block thing because she is carrying a bag of water and snacks!

That’s a long way down

You have no proof that I can swim

She has some sort of fascination with this nearby river, she kept saying, “Look, look, baby ducks”; I go look Ole Woman don’t you know I cannot swim.  I am clinging to the bridge and she thought this was a grand adventure for me.

Watch out ducks, the Teddynator is watching you

Get me a little closer and I will show you an adventure…how ducks can fly!

I am beat

Back at the “Ole Folks Home”, two hours of walking and two bottles of water later she looks at me and said, “You’re not so frisky now are you Ole Man”.

Until next time,
